Juliana Frank is one of the many victims of Nathaniel White, an American serial killer.
He killed her and left a trail of her dead body in Middletown, New York. After the murder, he confessed his enjoyment to the journalists.
On 26 March 1991, a couple walking along an abandoned railroad track discovered Juliana’s dead body. According to an investigator, the 29-year-old’s face was a mess, full of disfiguring injuries. Reportedly, White washed and put her naked, lifeless body in a pose.
The murderer stabbed Frank, four months pregnant, more than 40 times. As a consequence, the fetus had been cut open. Despite the overkill, police didn’t get any lead. Eventually, the case turned cold.
Then, on 10 July 1992, the police discovered another naked dead body of 34-year-old Laurette Huggins. The style of the murder was the same as that of Juliana. The police collected a paper coat hanger with a bloody fingerprint as evidence. Likewise, another victim was 27-year-old Adriane Hunter, who died in Goshen.
However, the missing report of two young women in Poughkeepsie, 23-year-old Angelina Hopkins and 20-year-old Brenda Whiteside, turned the case. Reportedly, Angelina’s mother and sister investigated on their own and led the officials to the suspect, Nathaniel.
After that, the investigation kicked off, and officers found him guilty. In addition to Frank’s murder, he killed Huggins, Hopkins, Hunter, Whiteside, and 14-year-old Christine Klebbe.
Juliana and the killer had sex near old railroad tracks. After that, she asked for money which enraged him, and he ultimately killed her. However, he confessed to not knowing of her pregnancy when the incident took place.
In August 1992, a judge charged him with six counts of second-degree murder, for which he pleaded not guilty because of insanity. Then, on 4 April 1993, Judge Jeffrey Berry sentenced him to 150 years of imprisonment.
