Mike Lookinland was born on December 19, 1960, in Mount Pleasant, Utah, USA. His parents are Paul and Karen Lookinland. His siblings are Todd and Theresa Lookinland. His brother Todd also grew up to be an actor.
Education
As a teenager, Mike Lookinland attended Chadwick School. After graduating in 1978, he enrolled at the University of Utah. However, he dropped out of his school before he could earn a degree.

Television And Film Career
Mike Lookinland began his acting career working in commercials, but it wasn’t until 1969 that he appeared in television and films. That was when he started working in the role that he would become most famous for Bobby Brady in The Brady Bunch. While working on this show, he also appeared in the related series, The Brady Kids, as the same characters. He acted on The Brady Kids until 1973 and on The Brady Bunch until 1974. Meanwhile, he also worked in various small roles on televisions shows, and movies like Funny Face and Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Even though the original Brady Bunch series ended in 1974, Lookinland’s involvement with the series didn’t end until many years later. He played the character of Bobby Brady in The Brady Bunch Variety Hour from 1976 to 1977; The Brady Girls Get Married in 1981, A Very Brady Christmas in 1988, and The Bradys in 1990.
After 1990, Mike Lookinland slowed down on acting and focused on his new career as a cameraman (however, he did continue occasionally acting in small roles until 2003). His career as a cameraman had officially begun in 1989 when he worked on the film Halloween 5. Throughout the rest of the 1990’s, he worked on ten films and television shows, including The Stand, Roswell, Parallel Lives, and The Rage.
Since 2000, he has worked as a cameraman for several television shows and movies, with his last work being in 2007 for the film Dark Matter. Some of the other films he has worked on as a cameraman include The Way of the Gun, Little Secrets, Just and Dream, and Everwood.

Business Career
Now that Mike Lookinland is done with acting and otherwise working in television and film, he had moved onto more serious pursuits, like owning his own company: Just Add Water. With this company, he makes decorated concrete countertops. It may not be as glamorous as acting, but it helps him to make a living. His son, Scott, also works with him in this business.

Awards And Accomplishments
Through the course of his television and film career, Mike Lookinland has only won one award: the TV Land Pop Culture Award for his work in The Brady Bunch. He had also been nominated for another TV Land Award for Favorite Singing Siblings, also for The Brady Bunch.

Alcoholism And Recovery
For some of his early adult life, Mike Lookinland was known to be a terrible alcoholic. In 1997, he was in a car accident and arrested for drunk driving. With his DUI to encourage him, Mike Lookinland soon started on the path to recovery. He claims to have been sober ever since his car accident.

Mike Lookinland married Kelly Wermuth in 1987. Together, this couple has two children: Joe and Scott. Scott had a small stint as a child actor, like his father.
