He Still Loves Her: Joe Budden Confronts Fellow Co-Host for Making Comments About Ex Cyn Santa
Social media seems to think Joe Budden may still have feelings for his ex-fiancé Cyn Santana.
During a recent segment of The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden and his co-stars Rory Farrell and Jamil “Mal” Clay discussed New York women lacking the ability to talk “sexy” per se.
“When’s the last time you had a New York girl talk sexy to you?” Budden asked. He added that social media users claim that women from the Big Apple call their significant others “son” as a form of endearment.
“In New York, women aren’t really trying to get into their talk sexy bag to you, so that’s why I think y’all are saying no,” the retired rapper said with a grin on his face. “I think y’all don’t hear New York chicks attempt it.”
Things hilariously took a turn left when Farrell and Mal disagreed with Budden and defended New York women. Mal brought up his co-star’s ex fiancée Santana and insisted that she didn’t talk aggressively.
“Cyn is from New York. She don’t talk like that,” said Mal. “Cyn don’t talk like that. Not when she tryin’ to be sexy.”
Budden’s face dropped in a matter of seconds, all while giving his co-host the side eye. He then jokingly stood up in front of Mal and confronted him about his remarks regarding Santana, saying, “Wait, hold up, what’s up my n–ga?” The whole crew laughed as Mal apologized to the podcaster for his comments coming off the “wrong way.”
Budden fans cracked up at the video segment of him and his co-stars, all while insisting the father of two still had feelings for Santana.
“Aww his heart dropped 😂😂 Mal had Joe’s head all messed up 😭 he still loves her. Cyn get ya mans”
“🤣🤣 This fool still eating his words this is the funniest thing I’ve seen all DAY 🤣. MK ultra. Keyword Cyn”
“Joe’s face DROPPED 😂😂 he love Cyn 👏🏽 not the BM he not going. He is not Omarion 😩😂”
“😭 yooo the face change tho💀 awwwwww he still loves her Joe said I’m ready to get TF lol”
After going months without Santana or Budden addressing their speculated breakup, the “LHHNY” actress sat down with Tiffany Pollard recently and spoke about her and Budden’s split.
“I did what was best for my mental health, for my peace, and for me and my son,” Santana explained.
“The best decision I made was leaving that relationship. And my son and I are amazing,” she added.
Budden responded to his ex-fiancée remarks on social media, tweeting on Oct. 8, “Smh.”
The podcaster and Santana called it quits earlier this year. They co-parent 1-year-old Lexington Budden together.
