Emily Ratajkowski (or EmRata as we like to call her), has certainly established herself as one of the most talked-about faces in fashion and film over recent years.

And with every red carpet appearance - or every stroll around LA with her newborn son, Sylvester - serving up an opportunity to cement her aesthetic, she's fast-becoming something of a style icon, too. Unsurprising, perhaps, when you discover that she has Vogue alum, Emma Morrison, as her personal stylist.

For those of you who haven't read up on Brit-born Emily Ratajkowski's early days in the industry, she was signed by FORD Models when she was 14, she was raised in California, and she shot to international fame in the summer of 2013 as the bombshell beauty at the centre of Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams' controversial Blurred Lines music video, which garnered over 400 million views on YouTube.

We've watched her go from playing 'the other woman' in Gone Girl, to the female lead alongside Zac Efron in We Are Your Friends, there's no doubting that EmRata's career is heading in the right direction.

But something that's often under-appreciated is her personal style trajectory. Having once favoured safer silhouettes and more conventional pieces, EmRata's more recent aesthetic is all about the loose tailoring, edgy cut-out accents and clever accessorising.

Oh, and if you were wondering, her last name isn't as difficult to pronounce as it seems. "The J is silent," she told Rolling Stone. "That's the trick. Occasionally people get it right on the first try, just through random luck. People have told me to change it over the years, but my dad is always saying, 'Never change your name!'"
