David Roldan-Dimas shot to death inside his car in Carolina Forest area,

Monday’s incident in Carolina Forest resulted in the death of one person. The 20-year-old York County resident David Roldan-Dimas was shot Tuesday at 1049 Glenforest Road while he was inside his car, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.

Roldan-Dimas passed away from his wounds right there. Around 11 p.m., officers were sent to the 1000 block of Glenforest Road in response to a shooting, according to a police report.

According to an incident report, they discovered a casualty inside a black Chevy Camaro that had collided with a white Nissan that was parked.

The victim had been shot several times. Officers performed CPR at first, but the subject was declared dead at the site, according to the report. There have been no detentions. Police in Horry County are still looking.
