Milton Powell, better known by his stage name Big Pokey, was a well-known American rapper from Houston, Texas. In 2005, Big Pokey and Paul Wall collaborated on the song “Sittin’ Sidewayz,” which peaked at number 93 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, demonstrating their skill as a team. Powell tragically passed away and lost consciousness on June 18, 2023, while performing at a bar in Beaumont, Texas. 

He received immediate medical care, but he died at the tragically young age of 45.
