About Celebrating Grace

In 2007, working with a distinguished team of more than fifty pastors, worship leaders, church music scholars and laity, businessman and philanthropist Tom McAfee began a grassroots formation of a new hymnal. The Celebrating Grace Hymnal, a modern, ecumenical resource was first published in March 2010. Now in its tenth printing, the hymnal is the cornerstone of the timely and relevant work of Celebrating Grace, Inc.

To supplement the hymnal, Celebrating Grace released its Accents Signature Music series of over 1,400 anthems and instrumental accompaniments along with a one-of-a-kind worship-planning platform, the Worship Matrix. Designed by David Bolin, the Worship Matrix is a customizable church music management tool that turns service planning and reporting into a seamless process for the busy church musician.

Tom McAfee in 2011 considered the need for quality children's music education materials. He acquired DOT Music Resources and began Growing in Grace, enthusiastically used internationally today by over 1500 churches. In addition to its themed curriculum, Growing in Grace offers a variety of children's anthems, collections, hymn-based resources, and musicals. The hallmark of Growing in Grace is age-appropriate, scripturally based music and activities accompanied with detailed teaching instructions. Children have fun becoming successful musicians while growing in their love for God.

From an idea about a hymnal to a non-profit publishing company, Celebrating Grace joyfully serves congregations through distinctive worship and church music resources - all to the glory of God.
